Planning permission was granted for a new development at London Dockers’ Athelete & Social Club at Boulcott Street, London, much loved for its arts, cultural and social events. London Dockers’ Athelete & Social Club provides sports activities including a number of football teams.
The development comprises an 8-storey building with two community facilities on the ground and 1st floor, each spread across 9000 ft2 with superior residential accommodation above – 25 flats, to include 9 x 1 bedroom, 13 x 2 bedroom and 3 x 3 bedroom units and four affordable housing apartments.
Our aim was to integrate Solar PV energy generation to assist in minimising the carbon footprint of the development and achieving the required emissions reductions for the Code for Sustainable Homes standard.
