PROJECT: OX10

With increasing energy prices, the ability to generate their own electricity encouraged the owners to invest in a solar PV system which supplies electricity to support the feeding of livestock, resulting in a reduction in energy bills and a reduction in CO² emissions.

With a grid supply restricting the project owners to a 50kW solar system, GHG were able to identify a solution to enable the client to install the desired 100kW through the integration of an export limitation device. GHG engaged in full consultation and negotiation with the DNO, to enable successful deployment.
