PROJECT: SW16

A new build of a new Year Six classroom block for Penwortham School in Wandsworth. The building meets BREEAM excellent. It is a prefabricated timber cassette structure clad with western red cedar in a horizontal and vertical arrangement, for classrooms and service areas respectively. It is naturally ventilated and has flexible teaching space with a folding wall between two classrooms to allow assembly teaching on a regular basis.

Our aim was to integrate Solar PV energy generation to assist in achieving the BREEAM excellent rating.
